A couple days ago I went in the little store at the local gas station to get some coke and there was this long line. When it was finally my turn I saw this woman off to the side. I think she was waiting all this time because the line was long and slow and she was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I think she wanted to join the line, but stood there so long that it was too late to do so without looking dumb to the other customers. She looked old and frail but probably only in her 50's, which was really sad and I almost cried. She probably stood there cuz all her life she stood there and took it from people and the system. I was so sad for her I wanted to put her down for good with a rock or a pipe or something blocky. I looked at her thinking ok I'll be a good person and let her go first, but all she did was stare back. I was about to say "go ahead" but her stare was so cold and lifeless I paid for my shit and left in a hurry. I think she's still there to this day, waiting for the line to end.
